1C:Manufacturing Enterprise Management is an integrated modular ERP-class solution that creates a unified information space and reflects all the complex business processes of a large enterprise and/or holding company.

The solution enables centralized data storage and processing with role-based access to it. It significantly improves productivity and reduces complexity of accounting and reporting, eliminating the need of doubled or, sometimes, tripled data entry by employees of several business units or legal entities. Bookkeeping and tax accounting is provided for all business units unified, while reporting is formed separately for every legal entity.

Main tool for registration of a business transaction is a document. To reduce user efforts tools for default data substitution and new document input on the base on previously entered once are present.

Solution functionality in brief

Generally 1C:Manufacturing Enterprise Management accumulates the features of the stand-alone 1C solutions and comprises the following modules:

  • CRM – similar to 1C:CRM, reflects all customer-related processes and operations and includes rich analytic and report generation tools for efficient sales and marketing
  • Trade Management – similar to 1C:Trade management, to reflect, analyze processes around customers, goods, financial and ware-flows.
  • Accounting – similar to 1C:Accounting (enterprise edition) and 1C:Consolidation. The feature set of the accounting module in 1C:MEM is far more rich than that of the standalone solutions, especially in cost calculation, financial planning and budgeting. This feature set covers the most needs of large enterprises and holding companies, providing an intelligent database for consolidation of information regarding common business tasks, such as management, procurement or marketing.
  • HR and payroll calculation – similar to 1C:HR for planning and managing personnel related processes and calculating employee payroll.
  • Production planning and management – separately-developed module that provides detailed management of various assets and resources, as well as production scheduling and documentation.
  • IFRS reporting – separately-developed developed module that provides automatic reporting transformation according to international standards on the base of Russian-requirements compliant reports. Intelligent transformation mechanisms save hardware resources and do not influence the overall solution performance.

However feature-rich and price-efficient, 1C:Manufacturing Enterprise Management is an enterprise-grade solution, with certain requirements to hardware, support and administration. It is ideally suited for large companies with own datacenters and extensive support teams. Solution deployment in an SMB or SOHO company is possible, but can cost much for customization, set up, hardware, support and maintenance.
